Hi everyone I’m 41 just realising my body got a mind of its own starting to Have horrendous periods never been great but soo heavy having to use my little boys nappies and ache soo bad bloated longer periods weight gain and painful after sex ,especially day after

I feel I bleed inside before it comes out very strange like it’s been there a while a few other very strange things which I need to keep a note on , Just stating to feel a bit brighter finishing period but I know I have a tilted womb I found out when had little boy and smear tests. Should I go to gp and say I want testing or at least ruling out what will they do . Thankyou so much any help advice from experience

I’d speak to GP, if you can, speak to one who you know and is sensible. I think I know the feeling you mean, but I knew I wasn’t, it’s horrible how things feel at times though.

Hello ! You definitely need to go to your GP. I went exactly with the same as you, my periods were so heavy, blood clotting (huge) I wore 2 sanitary towels and a tampon . Thankfully, she sent me for a scan, there lay cysts, polyps and fibroids

I had surgery 6 weeks ago, I once in there , i actually had stage 4 endometriosis. That’s not to say it’ll be the same for you but explained a lot

The endo was causing my dreadful periods because of where it wasIn my tummy

You will be well looked after in your doctors appointment I am sure

and the sooner you go, the sooner it can be looked at to make it better .

Go for a chat to get a good diagnosis . Other ladies with similar experiences will definitely help as mine was hand in hand with fibroids and cysts
