Pain and sickness
Hi
Have you been diagnosed or is this recent and waiting diagnosis.
What are you trying at the moment?
Painkillers can be good, but trial and error for what suits. The pill can help sometimes. I’m finding wheat bags useful as well as pain killers at times.
I haven’t been diagnosed yet as my surgery was meant to be on the 27th March but was understandably cancelled for now. Possibility I’ve had it for 5 years so now everything is progressively getting worse. I use hot water bottles, the usual ibuprofen and paracetamol for mild and ibuprofen and codeine when bad which still only slightly eases it. With the sickness, nothing helps I have to try and just force myself to sleep and hope it goes when I wake up
Speak to your GP, they can help with feeling sick. If you are taking NSAIDS regularly they should give you something like omeprazole to protect the stomach. You do need to eat something before taking as well.
It may help, the doctor will be best to talk to though as everyone is different, and need to make sure there isn’t anything else.
I think I’ve probably had it for many, many years as well. Make sure you get a new date, the system is probably going to be slightly screwed when back up and running
Go back to your GPS and explain to them on how you feel and to see if they send you for a MRI scan.
