Hi I'm currently on zoladex and hrt, for quite a few years I've had knee that creaks, when I move it, I had this before I knew about my endo, it has recently started getting worse in a way that when I walk upstairs I get a really sharp pain in it and it really hurts, doing other things is fine it's just stairs. Has anybody else had this and what did you do/take to help it. I'm trying to exercise and things to keep myself strong. It's hasn't caused discussion on any bone scans. The pain sort of goes through my knee cap. Thank you in advance for any advice

Hi,
I've been on Zoladex and similar drugs and also had knee issues, which were not necessarily connected.
I suggest seeking out physio input and or GP to address the knee problem.
Normal joint movement is the goal, and if you need to take painkillers for that, so be it. You need to avoid limping or abnormal movement because that will cause wear and tear on joints by causing surfaces to rub against each other that shouldn't.
Lovely thank you for your advice do you take any vitamins for it and what painkillers do you take if any? X
I had physio for my knees years ago, and have kept up the exercises and never needed any further physio or other intervention.
I took ibuprofen while I had some swelling around the knee, and I used joint supplements called glucosamine and chondroitin.
