Has anyone tried gabapentin for endometriosis nerve pain relief? Does it work? Any side effects?

My doctor has suggested it as I’m unable to take amitriptyline with existing medication.

Hi, yes I was prescribed gabapentin for pain relief, it did help and I took it for about 6 months, but it also made me feel a bit spaced out, so I came off it, like most drugs, it’s worth a try to see if it helps. Tho I advise you start on a low dosage!

Hope it works for you 😊

Hi, I was prescribed it for back pain, but also had endo pain at the time. It never helped either to be honest. I found the side effects unbearable too, nausea, inability to think clearly etc. I hope you have more luck.
