Can anyone offer advice?

Hi everyone, I'm new here - and still in a bit of a shock and suspense about everything.

In December I went to see my doctor because I had an abdominal mass in the left side of my stomach. I was referred to an ultrasound where they discovered two cysts (one on each ovary) measuring at 12cm and 8cm. The left fallopian tube also showed as visible.

I have been referred for an x-ray then a (probably) diagnostic laparoscopic surgery. They have stated they think the cysts are blood filled. I have had bad periods, for sure - sometimes so bad I vomited and had to lie down. I'm in my early thirties and want desperately to have children, so understandably I am terrified.

Does anyone have any guidance? My family are being very positive to me about all this, but I am so scared and so worried. I haven't really had any real information from any medical staff, and this is all making me exceedingly anxious. Did anyone conceive after surgery on both ovaries?

Trawling the internet has produced some true horror stories. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can give, I really appreciate it.

I do not know what to advice except do not worry to much ahead of time. Your cysts are big and as far as I know anything bigger 4 cm needs to be taken out. I am happy that they are found! That is a somewhat a relief. Medicine come a long way and doctors now can remove cysts without hurting ovaries. They will try to save as much as they can. Find a good surgeon and get rid of the cysts, hopefully it will resolve your pains.

I do not know how it works but I know sometimes women get their eggs frozen for future. Just something to ask maybe. But from what I read in the chats women get pregnant even with sever endo. Try not to worry too much and gather more information. Do not go that spiral way that would lead you to more worries. Talk to your doctors. And remember most of the time good stories are not in the internet. Most of the time people share their stories when they feel low physically or psychologically. Best of luck to you!

Thank you both for taking the time to reply - sorry I didn't get in touch sooner, I was still in shock for quite a long time. Due to Covid-19 I'm still waiting on my cancelled surgery, and I really appreciate the comments and suggestions. x
