I had my operation 5th December... went for an ultra sound today and I’ve already got 2 cysts on my left ovary. It was my first surgery and I’m in more pain now than before!! I’m so fed up. Is this much pain normal? X

Unfortunately that’s the horrible part about endo is that it keeps growing and makes everything worse. After your surgery were you recommend to take any hormonal therapy such as the pill, to try to slow the regrowth?

They put me in the coil but I think that’s made it worse xx

The coil can cause bleeding and be pretty uncomfortable untill it settles down. It doesnt work for everyone but if its not too bad give it a chance to work. If its unbearable though have it out xx

Ablation? Maybe I’m bit quite sure if I’m honest xx

Ahh ok, maybe that’s why it’s grown back worse. I’ve heard with ablation it’s pretty much guaranteed to grow back and sometimes worse than before, however everyone is different and for some it may still help for longer. But with excision they take it out from the roots resulting in more of a long term pain relief. Maybe you could try to look for BSGE accredited surgeons who are willing to do excision for you, it will probably benefit you a lot more in the long run.
