I’m after a bit of guidance... for 8 years I had severe pain, bleeding and everything that goes with it and told it was all in my head.. fast forward to 2018 where I was having a smear test (I have high risk HPV) and I mentioned to the new doctor about the years of pain. An ultrasound showed a cyst inside my ovary which they removed and during surgery found 2 hernias and endometriosis.
I have been getting pain again but happy to put up with it however I’m unsure if this is wise to do.. am I potentially making things worse in terms of fertility etc?
Thanks in advance!

My questions with this would be, have they removed the endo and what stage were you diagnosed at. Endometriosis can cause scarring, the more scarring the worse it could affect fertility I believe. I would advise going to your gp/gynecologists and discuss this with them as there may be something they can do. Have you been put on a progesterone contraceptive to try and balance the hormones?
So sooner endo is managed the less likely you are to suffer infertility however i believe it is around 30% of those with endometriosis will suffer fertility issues
