Lost yet another job😓😔😣

Endo strikes again....today I walked out of my job because I feel I’m being bullied by people for having endo and being different. I have had some time off and I feel they have been looking for reasons to pull me in the office and get rid of me. I’m also wanting to have children so this plays on my mind a lot. I feel sometimes I’m in my own world with fertility and with endo pains and I think this shows at work. I was pulled in the office today for being on my mobile and for using the bathroom to much. I just lost the plot I told the boss to stick his job up his ass and told him he was a bully. Does it ever get easier close to Christmas and now out of a job.... this has happened at least 10 times I just want a break 😫 xxxx

OMG bless your heart. I am so sorry you have to go through this. I do understand completely. I had only started a new job after quitting my last for my boss bullying me (he told me no one would hire me due to my condition, only with making disgusting comments). But I worry my new boss is judging me as I am constantly going to the loo and asking to work from home more. It such a crap situation to be in. Have you condidered a job where you can work from home? It has helped me a lot. I wish you all the best.

I am a software engineer, so I can program from home. There are a lot of options. But the root of the problem is people having no understanding of the condition. It shouldn't be happening, you need to put a complaint in for bullying.

In my new job I feel like my new colleagues are judging me but I know I have to do my best and not overthink, but it's exhausting.

Wish you all the best xx

This is so wrong and should not have happened! Are you from the UK? You should have gone to the companies Personnel Department as it use to be called. You should have explained your situation and how you are being treated, you should now, as you have walked away from your job, put in a complaint of bullying. I know some Endometriosis sufferers when I had it in the 80’s had to stop work all together As they could not work and keep a job and went on incapacity benefit? I hope you find help you need 👍

Hi

Are you in a union my union rep offered to speak to my workplace about my endo. It is awful that you are being discriminated against. I can't work from home as I work with patients so that would never be an option for me. I have felt judged at work and not understood. There is the constant worry about sickness record. I went to occy health and i have been told that as I have been diagnosed with endo they can't take action. I was also told that endo is classed as a disability but I'm not sure about that. Contact the Endo UK helpline and ? Citizens advice about your rights.

So sorry endo is so rubbish could you make a complaint about the bullying as its unacceptable. We are all so much more than our endo it's shokcing that we are judged for it. No one should be judged for dealing with a draining and painfu long term condition with no cure. Take care and find out about your rights xx

I’m sorry to hear that, I lost my job last year for similar reasons, was told I had too much time off and they “couldn’t support that” I was in hospital for several days on oramorph from the pains and was signed off by the dr another week a month later, I had only been suffering a few months when I was told my contract wasn’t being renewed, just before my appointment at the drs to try the depo injection to see if it would control the pains, I got to the drs surgery and cried on the nurse! 🙈

Over a year later and I am finally going in for my first laparoscopy on Wednesday!

Luckily I now have a new job with a much more understanding boss!

I hope you find a job with a boss as nice as mine! Good luck x
