What to do after decapeptyl injections for endo? Pain & bleeding returns!

Recently finished a course of 6 decapeptyl injections following trialling all other hormone treatments for Endometriosis and likely Adenomyosis.

I needed to take Norhisterone a lot during this course of injections as I continued to have problems bleeding. However I’ve now been told to stop taking as not for the long term and causes more problems in future e.g. blood clots etc. Since I stopped taking them, the bleeding has returned and usual pains and bloating have heightened.

I await a consultant review at the end of the year and to be put on the surgery list to cut out the tissue, who knows how long the wait will be!

However, I’m currently in probation for a new job and terrified of having time off as I need this job and don’t want this condition to impact on my performance. However, symptoms are making it very difficult and spending most of my time bent in half and crying as it’s so painful. Painkillers aren’t touching it and anything stronger I’ll be asleep! Which although this would mean I’d get some sleep, I wouldn’t be able to work or be productive in the day.

Advice would be much appreciated, thank you!
