Has anyone had the dye test done and had confirmation their fallopian tubes are blocked?

Hi! I had this done two months ago and found out one of my tubes is blocked with scar tissue and endometrial tissue from endometriosis.

It was helpful to know ahead of some fertility treatment we are having and depending on the type of blockage it might be treatable.

I found because one tube was blocked the procedure was very painful and uncomfortable on that side and I had to ask for them to stop at one point but it's so quick in the end!!

I am having the test done whilst having surgery for my endo, it isn't keyhole, it is the next step as my last laparoscopy didn't seem to work.

Which fertility treatment are you having? Do you know anymore about what blockages might be treatable?

I'm having an IUI - I was offered IVF because my partner has some fertility issues too but we decided to try IUI first to see 🤞🏻

Sorry to hear your lap didn't work - I know there's some that can be 'flushed' they tried it with me but it didn't work and if you have a blockage or obstruction they can treat it I think and you need surgery for sure if there's something (I can't remember the name) fluid related - a blocked and fluid build up or something like that. Mine was just solid blocked with endo and scar tissue so nothing they can do but hope my other tube starts picking up from the other ovary (apparently they can do that!)
