Periods completely stopped with endometrioma

If you have an endometrioma has it stopped ur periods completely?

My periods have been irregular for me for a while. After a ultrasound I was told I had an endometrioma in my left ovary and have now missed a whole cycle.

During my scan the sonographer asked if I was due my period as my womb had thickened ready for this.

Although it has felt like I am gonna start I haven’t.

Asked the Dr but he didn’t know.

My periods stopped for 3 months and the gp sent me for a scan. They said I had a blood filled cyst on my ovary and no further action was required !

My periods did come back after the 4th month .

I had large bilateral endometriomas and still got my periods regularly every month

Mine are normally 12days long and my cycles are normally so regular.

The last 2 only lasted 48 hrs and now completely missed this cycle.

It’s funny how it affects people in different ways x
