Hi all looking for some advice please. I was referred to a fertility clinic and on my initial visit they did a transvaginal scan and found what the nurse believed to be an endometrioma behind my right ovary. This was then confirmed by the same nurse after a second scan. I have an appointment to see the consultant next week which I'm quite nervous about, does anyone have any advice on what questions I should be asking. Thank you.

Sorry to hear. My advice is to educate yourself. Read as much as you can - here, on endometriosis-uk.org/, look for Nancy Nook endo group on FB.
Find out about the consultant- are they an endo specialist?
If not, the chances are they’ll start you on a wrong path- even the NHS’s webpage on endo isn’t very good, and many dr’s don’t really know what to do. Do it’s up to us to learn.
All the best x
