Pain symptoms advice

I’m hoping someone can tell me if I’m crazy or not. I have some conflicting information from consultant, one who did my laparoscopy said I had very severe endometriosis but the other consultant said the pictures looked more like pelvic inflammatory disease with some endo possible. Anyway that’s the back story. I get severe pain during periods but in the months since my laparoscopy I’ve been getting this dull ache at the end on my period and for a few days after bleeding stops, the pain is in my lower back around kidneys and almost in my hip area. I take naproxen and codeine for pain during periods but they don’t help as much when this pain comes. Like now I’m sat with a hot water bottle, after having 30mg of codeine and 250mg naproxen and it’s still aching. Is this something other endometriosis suffers have experienced?
