The full story is very long and I don't want to go over it just now. But I have adeno and have/had endo. Lap today showed no new endo or adhesions which was a surprise as that suspicion was why they wanted to do it. It confirmed womb has adenomyoyic appearance, backing up MRI and my symptoms. What has really knocked me for six is that they were looking for endo of the left uterosacral ligament as this is tender and shows as thickened on scans and I get bad back and leg pain on left. Post op they've said it appears thick only because I don't have a right one...at some point it has been removed?! And nobody thought to ask if they could or tell me. Really angry and in shock and disbelief? They said it didn't matter for pregnancy but surely my womb won't be strongly supported and they said I would be at risk of prolapse later...? They also clearly had no concept of adeno - at least the one who explained to me.
Has anyone had this happen and what have been the after effects?
Grateful for any replies as very low. xxx
