Took 2-3 months, in SE London.
Felt lucky to have seen someone who was also has an interest with chronic pain and was very encouraging of alternative solutions, even recommended looking at my diet.
However next follow-up is only in 4 months time.
Good luck!
The waiting list is my area is usually 9 months to be seen.
I knew I had a large cyst from an ultrasound, and was seen within 4 months of it being found. If you have any potentially worrying symptoms, by which I mean they need to rule out cancer, it can help to speed things up.
I waited 8 months - Oxford, JR. I'm told they are having to refer out of area now due to back log and lack of staff. Cant you ask for an out of area referral or is it too far?
