Hi!

I’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis 5 years ago and already had a laparoscopy to remove the endometriosis and some ovarian cysts. 5 years later it is all back and worst! The NHS have not been very helpful because they know nothing about it and it’s very frustrating. I’ve been referred to a specialist in London who is amazing However is it private and the cost is massive! I have already payed £1436 just for my expensive MRI scan and not my 2 lap could cost between £2k to £5k. Do anyone know where I can get financial support? I’m really getting distressed and it’s not helping my endometriosis. Xx

Why is it that you have been reffered for private treatment ? Can't you be sent to a NHS hospital that specialises in your condition ? You need to ask about this. There should be a NHS hospital that has specialist doctors who can help you with your problem.
