Burning in pelvis - fed up!

I've had a constant burning in my pubic bone since November, getting gradually worse with each period until this month the pain is literally unbearable. I've had constant urine infections and had my urine tested each time, and been given antibiotic after antibiotic and nothing has touched it.

The private specialist I saw said she thinks my womb is irritated from endo and this is affecting my bladder, but the GP doesn't seem to be concerned and is sending off yet another urine sample. I have to go back to work next week and I'm in so much pain sitting, standing, walking, and just feeling miserable 24/7, anyone got any idea how to make the pain in my bladder/pelvis go away without strong painkillers?!?!?

The burning in the pubic bone area was one of my worst symptoms, it often felt like my uterus was trying to burn its way out through my bikini line and it would also radiate into my lower back. After surgery they found a lot of endo behind my uterus which explained this.

Prior to surgery I noticed the burning would be worse the day after any alcohol intake. Alcohol is a huge inflammatory so this made sense to me that it was aggravating my endo and leading to further inflammation. I looked into other inflammatory drinks and foods and tried to eliminate them where possible. It made a big difference and even now a year after surgery I still avoid alcohol (was a bit of a bummer at first but not worth the pain)

That's interesting to hear, glad I'm not the only one! I had a lap 18 months ago and nothing was found, but I've since come off the pill and pain has got gradually worse over time leading me to believe there was endo and it's growing back. The burning is horrible tho, it's constantly there with no relief and it makes me miserable, so I'll have to keep a closer eye on foods and drink and see if there's any link I can find that makes it worse x
