Pain in stomach no typical pelvic pain anyone else get it there?

I'm a bit confused because I know endometriosis is felt more in the pelvis but I'm having pain my stomach belly button level. It's keeping me up in the nights now it's just not going away. The thing that's worrying me is it feels like I got something solid right across my stomach. My upper back hurts as well. Sometimes I get a burning feeling in my stomach as well like it's on fire. I paid to see a private consultant who said they would arrange to see the radiologist to tell him what to look for on mri and that was over a week ago and have heard nothing back. I'm worried something bad is happening as I'm thinking would endometriosis make me feel so bad as my symptoms were always pretty mild over the years.
