I'm waiting to see a gynaecologist ? endometriosis and I'm in so much pain I don't know what to do with myself. I mainly get the pain in my lower left abdomen but sometimes in the right side too. Sometimes its a dull ache that's always there and more recently extreme cramps! I've been on the pill for 2 months but it's worse than ever.
Can anyone recommend anything that might help me please?

I’m 22 and have the same issue, currently waiting to see Gynacologist too. I purchased these ‘Be You Period Pain Relief Patch’ strips recently and found they helped ease the pain for a couple of hours so I wasn’t completely doubled over in pain and made it more manageable to do day to day things. The strips remind me of deep heat, so might be worth trying that as an alternative.
I had had endo last yr September when I first found out whilst being hospitalized. I have been using hot water bottle which is the only comforting thing. They have put me on codeine and also on the combined pill. This helped for 5months but now nothings working other than oral morphine and hot water bottle.
I found that co cocodemol helped me. I have been given tramadol but it doesn’t seem to do anything when it flares up really bad. I’m waiting for my specialist apt in Poole hospital in June. X
I get a pankiller in France it's name Antadys, I don't know if we have it in UK. The last time I went to France the phermacist said if I get a prescription here they can sell it for me. It's take off the pain without side effects like diziness. All the others pain killers make me dizzi and doesn't take the pain away.
I have been diagnosed with endo waiting laparoscopy since August 2018.
I’m about to go and have my colony of cysts surgically removed, but over the past 2 years I’ve found the more active I am, the better the pains. So saying that I am on some of the strongest pain medication! Things like Pilates and Yoga have really helped me.
I've tried cocodomol but it gives me really bad indigestion and nausea. I have mefenamic acid which helps a bit. Just bought a tens machine but not tried it yet. I've had ultrasound scans which didn't show any problems. A recent CA 125 blood test was raised at 40. I've apparently been referred to gynae but I'm awaiting an appointment. My pain is in my left lower abdomen specifically just above the pubic bone which can radiate above my hip and into my lower back. I also keep getting episodes of nausea. I've been on the combined pill for two months but if anything my pain is worse now.
Hi I was diagnosed about 20 years ago with endo on my left uterosacral ligament and in my last surgery 2015 (I am lucky I have only had 2) they discovered my left ovary had adhesions and was stuck to my womb. I have pain down my left side, back and hip. I use cocodemal but not to put to finer point on it sometimes makes the pain worse in long run as it causes constipation. I use heat patches and a friend recently introduced me to deep heat roll on which I have found dulls the pain. I hope you find something that works.
Hi. That's interesting to hear. Sometimes I can feel a pulling sensation almost muscular in the groin and hip area. Did you have MRI scan etc before a lap? Do you get pain all the time? I've seen the deep heat roll might be worth a try!
I had a scan prior to last surgery but no MRI. The scan didn't show anything because of where my endo is. Although I was surprised it didn't highlight the problem with my ovary. I have constant pulling feeling but the pain builds throughout the month and some months I don't know if that is dependent on what side I ovulate. I have a massive flare up that doubles me up for a while usually at nighttime. Then the pain is really bad for about 10days. I find sitting at this time painful too as it seems to scrunch up my side.
