Hi everyone

I was first diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2014 and have had two laparoscopy’s since.Ive had cysts in my left and right ovaries.Every day I’m in pain I find it hard to function in my social personal and work life.

I’m currently discussing long term treatment with my GP as I just can’t bear the pain anymore.

I hope this helps for anyone who thinks their alone x

Hi Fawzy, I feel the same. In pain every day with bloating or pelvic pain/cramps. I don't have a day without a hot water bottle/heat pad. I'm feeling very lost and defeated. I've only had one lap, last year, and i'm wondering if I need another one. What has your GP suggested so far? Mine just says paracetamol and ibuprofen but that does nothing! Big hugs x

Hi Bunny,

Many thanks for replying.

Awww I know how u feel my hot water bottle is my new best friend too.

I would suggest seeing your GP and referring you to your gynaecologist to discuss other options as you’ve only had the lap less than a year.As for the pain everyone’s pain is different,I find codeine usually helps.

Sometimes you have to push these GPS. They can get a little complacent.
