Ovarian cyst - endometriosis?

Hi guys,

I've been having symptoms similar to those of endometriosis for the past couple of years, but since I came off the pill (to try for a baby & I wasn't keen on being on hormonal medication anymore) in August last year, the symptoms are becoming progressively worse. I've been to the doctors several times for all the usual examinations and tests etc. and finally got referred for a scan which I had this morning. This showed I had a cyst on my ovary (I also had ovarian cysts as a teenager) but they're not too concerned about it and they're going to send me an appointment for a follow-up scan in 3 months. Should I wait for this follow-up appointment or should I go back to my doctor to try and push for them to look into the possibility that I might have endometriosis? If I have it, I would like to find out sooner rather than later since I'm trying for a baby, and 3 months is a long time! My doctor has never mentioned endo, but the more I look into it the more I think that it could be a possibility as I have pretty much all of the symptoms and they are getting progressively worse. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated
