Advice on endo

Hi girls just wanted to a bit of advice really as feeling so low since I've had my post lap done 5 weeks ago now which I had minimal endo ok my right side which they removed but since the weekend I've had bad pain in my left side and round the middle of my tummy again feel like they have maybe missed parts ? I've been so bloated since September and nothing seems to be helping it not even the low FODMAP diet I've been told to try out. I've started to feel very self concious with how I look and getting to the point I don't want to go out with friends because I look gross. I just really don't know what to do anymore. I know my body and I can tell something is wrong but nobody wants to listen to me. Sorry if I'm ranting on

Sorry your feeling so rubbish x are you under Endo specialist? And have you ever been seen by a gastroenterologist?

I'm having a follow up in February for the endo as didn't get told much after the lap. And I am been seen by gastroenterologist as I have coeliac disease but that's all under control. Just sick of feeling so rubbish

Sorry I can’t offer much advice, I just know it’s difficult as I have bowel issues along with Endo and adeno . I asked re gastro because you mentioned the bloating and left sided pain .... I know it’s annoying when you don’t feel your being listened to but it is so difficult when you have multiple problems in one small area of the body . I sympathise with the bloating mine was bad in the summer and I was walking along hoping people just thought I was pregnant not fat although that doesn’t work when they see you a day before and you wasn’t lol

Also I’ve never been asked about swelling of the stomache just bloating but I’ve started thinking surely they should differentiat with that because inflammation causes swelling but when I go to appointments I say yes I get bloating (but I also get a swallow tummy) but never say that as it seems to get lumped together . As for ranting that’s impart what this place is for talking to people that hopefully listen and understand a bit ... x

Yh I've had coeliac disease for 4 years now but that's all under control so it can't be related to that as everything I eat is gluten free I checked everything. I just generally think theirs something going on and they just have no answers to it. I'm so glad you said that about your tummy to as mines always bloated but also looms swollen near to the middle down my waist I've said this a few times to people and they gave agreed to. It's so frustrating feeling so horrible. X
