Fatigue, lightheaded and weak after ovary removal

Hi, I had a laporoscopy 6 days ago. They removed a cyst, right ovary and fallopian tube. The first two days I had a little bit of bleeding and the next two days the bleeding increased. It now looks like a period and it came with cramping. I want to think it is a period but what really worries me is this feeling that I am going to pass out because when I stand up and go for a walk around the house, I want to sit down again because I feel weak, with no energy. Is it normal to feel all this weakness and lightheadedness?

It is normal to feel weak and lacking in energy after abdominal surgery of any kind including endo excision, yes. There's a reason people are usually signed off work for 2 weeks. You can only recover at your own pace -- it takes as long as it takes. Be kind to yourself, rest as much as you need, take it easy, and make sure you're eating well and getting plenty of iron, liquids, etc, to help the healing process and replace what you're losing. But, if you're worried that there is something wrong, best to contact your GP or the surgical team.
