Hello everyone 
I hope you are all well? I’m just looking for some advice really, for the last couple years I’ve been sexually active i’ve noticed I bleed every time I have sex and it hurts. As well as this I have painful periods and tend to bleed heavily I was just wondering if anyone had experienced the same as me and could offer some advice or guidance? I’ve booked in to my doctors next week just to get some help

Hello!, at the moment I haven’t been diagnosed with it. The first time I went the doctors she wasn’t very helpful she just put me on the pill no questions asked
I’ve always considered it as a possibility I just wanted some advice to see if anyone had experienced the same things as me?x
Yeah I've experienced all of those things and are what initially led me to get investigated. You need to push back unfortunately; the pill is often prescribed to minimise symptoms, but if you want the diagnosis you have to keep going and keep pushing x
Thank you for your help! It feels so daunting not really understanding what’s going on and feeling like I might get turned away again did you notice any other symptoms? X
This sounds like possible adenomyosis to me But make sure you have everything else checked properly because other scary things can cause bleeding after sex- eg get a smear test etc.
Hello! Thank you for your reply it really means a lot thankfully I’ve been tested for STD’s and I know it’s nothing like that it is something I’ve had for years and I just want to get an answer x
No worries. I have the same symptoms and am almost 100% sure I have adenomyosis so something to consider anyway! x
You poor thing have you ever been to the doctors to check it out? I’m definitely going to keep to consider that too as an option!x
