Oooo that looks sore and painful. Guessing u have an infection. You need to go to gp/nurse or urgent care centre to get it looked at. They will clean it and give u antibiotics if need be. Good luck, let us know how u get on x

I found that when it's swollen it hurts more plus if it doesn't air well it can go all wet in there - healing can create weeping that is plasma (blood with no red blood cells) - not infected.

I used a small piece of non adhesive dressing (first aid kit or cut up a plaster) cut out a 1cm by 1/2 cm strip, roll and dab into some tea tree oil / witch hazel / colloidal silver - then place just in belly button. It'll air it while healing. I've found the savlon or similar made it worse. Change twice a day, if it doesn't come out, soak with a little of what you've used above. keep changing until it doesn't have any more stuff on it. That's dry healing, you can use wet healing and fill belly button with medical grade manuka honey, change once a day but don't take all of it out otherwise the cuts will reopen, keep covered.

The pain - mine felt like tugging, but it reduced a lot after the swelling went down. Is it painful in certain positions - sitting / standing etc? If it's just itchy painful the above may help it go. Try not to poke or clean it too much.

probably the skin is a little sensitive from being wet all the time, it's horrible, feels raw.

Get some aloe vera :)

Sorry but to me that looks normal and not infected. It’s common and I agree with the above person a little bit of gauze in the belly button area will keep it dry. The pulling is probably the internal sutures dissolving. It will ease but think about what waist bands you wear. When your home leave it exposed ie lay flat or walk around with tummy exposed. As long as it’s not hot or mucky, I wouldn’t worry. Your only a week post op give it time. Wipe it out twice a day especially after a shower to prevent chemicals getting in there.

Best wishes
