Cramps after bowel movement

Hi all,

I do not think I have any of the other classic symptoms of Endo from what I have read (however I do have brown blood for a few days before and after my period and often have frequent constipation/lose stools) but no real pain/bleeding symptoms. However for my last few periods since coming off of the combined pill, I have experienced period-like cramps after bowel movements that last for approx 5 mins in the week before my period is due.

Has anyone else experienced this? It is only AFTER the bowel movement, not during, and in the week BEFORE my period starts, not during. The cramps are uncomfortable rather than very painful.

I worry that it may be endo related, but am unsure if this is a symptom that could be related.

Endometriosis is a condition which is often difficult to diagnose because symptoms present in very different ways for different people.

Pain before or after opening bowels can indeed be a symptom of Endometriosis but if you are concerned, please do go see a medical professional.
