So my period this month lasted 2 days! The first day I was in agony and heavy bleeding with clots, yesterday the flow was so light. I am 2 months post lap so that could be why.
Anyways this morning, I’m in so much pain but no bleeding. I have a constant sharp pain in my pubic bone area and a heavy dull ache again which is what I had before surgery. Turned out to be a large cyst which my gynae drained.
What could be causing all this? Are cysts returning again?

Hi. I’m sort of the same, in pain, super tired, and the lightest (almost non existent) period. Normally my periods are heavy, and any cramps largely gone in 48 hours. Not this time. I didn’t have anything heavy day 1, where you did. But still wondering what on earth this is. Where is my period??? And why the pain, if such little/no bleeding. So I’m keen to see if any other ladies have any insight?
hey, sorry you're feeling horrible, I'm at the same point you are; post lap two weeks to my 3rd period after lap.
The pain isn't it all coming back, I had to ask my consultant about it after my last op. It's because our body can't tell the difference between removal of endo (or cysts etc) and endo pain therefore we associate it and think nothing's changed or it's come back. It's why they say give it 3 to 4 months to be back to 100% or to have an idea of what normal is once everything's settled down.
It can take up to 6 months as the uterus really doesn't like being moved around so much, also this then means cycles can become a bit messed up for a few months as it's all in a bit of a shock, and needs time to recover. You've had a lot done considering they put you under, make incisions, inflate your abdomen, put a camera in, poke stuff around, remove stuff, then deflate, and sew up, that's a lot!
