So I’ve been on Prostap injections for 3 months now and whilst my pain has improved drastically (probably 70% better) I still have some pain, is this normal?

Pain on Prostap?
Hey, I've not been diagnosed with Endo but have just been referred for lap after having 4 months of prostap to see how my body reacted in order to determine next steps. First 6 weeks were pretty grim with symptoms intensified and just feeling generally not v well. Then after 2nd injection I started to feel a bit like there was some hope, the 2-3 weeks of cramping I'd get a month subsided and I was a lot less bloated in general. I could still tell when I was ovulating and due on though as my bowel pain before movements and dodgy belly at those times was still a feature as was right hip pain. Got a bit sick of the hot flushes and night sweats so decided to make life a bit more comfortable and opt for the HRT a few weeks ago - within 12 hours I was in pain with cramping and feeling rough again. Did 9 days of it before the follow up with gynae who said to stop taking the HRT as my body was obviously reacting to it. I've read somewhere that prostap helps calm active Endo but not adhesions so there may still be an element of pain for some people? What has your experience been like and did you opt for the HRT?
Hey,
I have just come across your post...
I am in my second month of prostap and I am feeling awful to be honest 😢 I had one of the heaviest/painful periods around 2 weeks after my first injection but fell ok(ish) once that stopped. Not much pain.
With the second month a lot of side effects have kicked in...hot flushes/night sweats , upset stomach, headaches, aches and pains.
I am not currently taking any HRT. I am seeing the nurse at my GP surgery today but I am very reluctant to go on HRT.
I’m not having any pain as such but still have the odd period like pain/niggle now and again.
Have you had any side effects?? Are you taking HRT?

Hi most of my pain is gone still get the odd times when I get pain in my lower abdomen but nothing like it was before I also get severe pain under my left ribs which hasn't disappeared with Pros tap but not sure if that is Endo related yet as it needs investigating. I am on my 4th injection and I am taking HRT since last month as the migraines and hot and cold flushes and sleepless nights were getting too much! I still haven't found the right combination for me yet so it's a work in progress. Also if you have fibroids they can break down with prostap and that can cause bleeding or pain as I was bleeding for 3 weeks last month.
