Thank you everyone for your support yesterday I have had the op at least I know finally know what's been going on with my body and a lot more so i have endos stage two they did burn some off but its on the bowels so gutted they also removed cysts and unblock my fallopian tubes they also suggesting that I've got a lot of problems what is not gyne so need to see gastrole team over my belly and eating and bowels so it sounds like a few more apps for me but have been referred to pain team and get to choose where I won't my care from now on and treatments overall everything went ok in surgery yesterday was quite sick and groggy when woke up with a lot of trapped wind in belly and shoulders but the team where great and got home at about 4 feel so sore today and no energy But got me hubby and pug helping out just cart remember what they said about changing my dressing and when I can bath

Hey, glad you finally have some answers.

My nurse told me to just take off the dressing and leave the wound to heal as long as i clean it. However every hospital is different so ring them to find out. Also I think you can have baths about 2-4 weeks after xx

They told me to keep mine on for five to seven days then to check them one of mine wasn’t quite healed and had to have it recovered for a few more days but as others have said every hospital is different xx

They gave me a leaflet with information on which was really helpful. They told me to keep the bandages on for 5-7 days, then once they were off, I could shower. It was sink washes until they were off because you shouldn't get them wet, as it risks an infection.

Definitely ring up to check though because everyone has been told differently, so there must be no correct answer x

The same with me I can't remember everything but I re asked I had a big dressing of and one near my bits I keep having strip lashes but everything is still so sore and now I actually know what I've got it's driving me mad again with worre of what's next and got over tretment to have gastrologists problems wish it would all piss offf and to make me feel wores it my hubbys bithday to morrow x
