NSAIDs & Bowel Issues

Currently in the midst of an almost 3 week pain flare up which is possibly the return of endometriosis but involves a lot of bowel symptoms and discomfort / stomach discomfort.

I saw consultant last week who prescribed me Diclofenac slow release & advised me to take these to control the pain, HOWEVER I'm really worried to take them as I think they might make bowel issues worse? I really can't handle anything getting any worse right now!

Has anyone else with bowel issues taken diclofenac and been okay? Or other NSAIDs?
