Very rarely unless it was a long op or complications. A laparoscopy is a day case xx

My first op that they found it, was out the same day. Second op 2 weeks ago I was in op for over 3 hours had to stay over night. I think it depends on how long your in surgery, how much you have done x

How long are you out of work after a lap? I’m a care assistant I have my op booked in October just wondered does any one know x

It really depends- I stayed overnight and I was so glad, I wouldn't be able to go to bathroom that night, not even with my partner's help. It took me good 4 weeks to recover. But still- I know women who were perfectly fine 5 hours after laporascopy and we're back at work max a week later. It really depends, but just listen to your body and don't push it too much
