After being on prostap injections for 5 months and having a bone scan, osteoporosis in hips and spine 😞 have endo and adenomyosis, can’t carry on with injections so will have to go back to the drawing board with severe bum plain 😢😢😢

Oh no. I’m sorry to hear this. Do you think the injections caused this? I’m on my second course of prostap now. I know it’s a strong drug and it’s not good for bones long term xx

I guess so, feel quite sad because they had stopped the pain, have had really bad hot flushes and have turned in to an insomniac but I think it outweighed the pain, my pain without being too graphic was high up in my bottom, started like a contraction then builds up over about an hour, I would be rolling around the bed in excruciating pain 😢

They really do help. It’s a shame they can’t be given long term. I’m concerned that I’m on medication as when all this started I was losing calcium from my body. On calcium tablets for life now. I do get pain in my butt also like a feeling of overwhelming pain with a lot of heat. Like it’s on fire up there. I can be walking and jump like someone has stabbed me up there. Most days I feel like I’ve been hit my a truck from all angles 😔 x
