I’m sure it’s stage one. But the stage doesn’t corespondent with the pain and symptoms you have x

Thanks :) it's just so confusing I tried looking it up but one site said its stage 3 and then the other said its moderate so I'm super confused lol :) x

“Superficial” endo is endo implants that grow on the surface of an organ. “Deep “ endo penetrates within the organ.

Superficial doesn’t necessarily mild endo it is just where it grows.

Your gynae should be able to stage your endometriosis.

Do bear in mind the stage of endo does not always correspond to the level of endo symptoms & pain X

Its horrible when the surgeon gives information when we are so whacked out from anaesthetic; I had my third lap two weeks ago on Monday and I can’t remember anything he said! And the only thing written on my discharge notes is excision of endometriosis and follow up appointments details; to see him within a month and my fertility doctor in 3 months. Get your frustration! xoxo

Thank you! I haven't got a follow up appointment planned at the moment but I think I may have to speak to my GP and ask th to explain my letter, hope you're feeling better from your lap :) xx

I know the terminology is very confusing isn’t it?! I always try to google 😆 yes sounds a good plan to get the GP to explain it better 👍

I feel better thank you. 🙂But I’ve heard nothing from hospital so my GP is chasing it up for me 🤦🏽‍♀️ because I had complications post surgery I have to see him in a months time. xoxo

I have superficial endometriosis and was told it was stage 3, does it say where abouts you have it? As I think it also depends how much you have rather than just how deep it is xx

Thanks for your response Lizzy I had it wrapped around my appendix and bowel x

Sounds like stage 3 to me tbh as it involves your bowel but I'm not a doctor so don't quote me on that lol x
