Zoladex injections

So been to see the consultant this week and surgery is several months away! The whole situation just feels like it is spiralling out of my control.

So wanted some advice. Has anyone had these injections? If so how did you get on? Just want to know what I am letting myself in for!

I had 5 months of zoladex injections with add back HRT, I had no side effects (apart from being a bit more tetchy). I still got my periods but the Endo sympotoms were dramatically reduced. If you get the 1 month injection (rather than the three months) you can come off it if it isn’t agreeing with you. I was terrified before I went on it but I was desperate and fortunately it was kind to me. If you can have add back HRT you can also try different ones. Wish you luck!
