What areas are best to have scanned? Is just the pelvic area enough? Wanted to be able to take the results when I go to see a private specialist in August xx

Im sorry to hear you are having a bad time. I get the sense that you feel back at square one.... but you're not. Youve come a long way. What's happening now sounds miserable but it wont last forever. It really wont, even it it feels it will right now.

What gives you some mental relief, even if not physical? Friends? Cinema? Retail therapy? Bath and nails done?

Try and distract yourself with something nice. Hope you are feeling better soon x

Thank you, I don’t think I have any endometriomas as they would show up on an ultrasound? However I have a backward tilting enlarged uterus. The specialist I’m seeing does specialise in endo however not sure how I would be able to find a radiographer who specialises? As there hasn’t been any options when I’ve looked online to book the mri x

Yes it is, he’s the only one local to me and my doctor referred me to him privately so I can then go back to his nhs clinic after I’ve had my first consultation with him. I have a 3 month wait privately as he’s so busy so wanted to have had an mri to take with me before hand but my doctor would only do an ultrasound which Is why I was considering paying for one privately and then he would have the results and obviously if he then needed to do anything else he can through the nhs but that means even more waiting x
