Don’t feel too frustrated if it doesn’t show. I was covered in endo, behind ovaries, rectum, cervix, vaginal wall and pouch of Douglas. I had an MRI with a contrast dye prior to having my surgery and it was all clear apart from a few fibroids.

I had the mri but they didn’t use a contrast dye. Is that normal?

Completely, I think I had it as I was having a lot of bowel problems with mine, including menstrual bleeding from my rectum.

Waiting for results are the absolute worst, I felt so anxious waiting for mine then super frustrated once I did get them and they were all clear.

I have coeliacs and so have lots of bowel issues. I’ve always been under Gastro and it’s only recently they’re looking at it from a gynae perspective. I wonder why they didn’t use the contrast dye wjth me then?! Oh well, it doesn’t sound like it made a huge amount of difference if they still didn’t pick yours up even with it.

Waiting is the worst, as are getting normal results!!
