Been doctors agen coz pain so bad and just won't to give up now been put on amitriptyline said it will help with pain dose any one know just feel like I'm fobed of as she just say u going to see a gynecologist soon she will now more

Hi Alana, I was given amitriptyline by a Dr a few years ago too. I had to stop taking it as it massively affected my sleeping and did not do anything for the pain. It has taken me another 2 and a half years to finally get a referral to the endo specialist and am booked or my 1st Lap at the end of the month. You may get on better with the meds than I did- the drs did not believe me that it triggered my insomnia as it is something that they usually prescribe to treat insomnia but really glad I decided to stop taking it and keep pushing for my referral.

It dose nothing for me as well just felt sleep after it and when your. Read up on them is for depression I'm not like that just so fed up of the pain but no one like doctors seem to listen
