Did HRT return all symptoms plus more?!

So I’ve been on zoladex for well over 3 years now with the odd break here and there. It’s the only thing that gives me any form of life back. Stops all symptoms and I can get on with life. I had to start taking HRT in order to keep getting the zoladex injections, which I agreed to! So I started taking the HRT and within a week of wearing the patches I was in pain, I was run down, I ended up with a kidney infection, my anxiety was through the roof and I was back in a very dark place.. somewhere I haven’t been for a few years! And last but not least the joyful bleeding started and continued for 3 weeks continuous! Has anyone found HRT actually just caused them more issues? I also have a suspicion it’s just confirmed Adenomyosis?! Any form of hormone and I’m back to square one

Aww no sorry to hear that! Did you find the zoladex helped once it kicked in? I’ve found it a blessing! I think the HRT caused me more issues than the zoladex for now Atleast! I am looking to come off the zoladex once I have excision surgery, which fingers crossed is the end of this month, so I’m hoping providing it’s the endo causing the continuous bleeding and majority of the pain that following surgery I won’t end up back to square one once the zoladex is out of my system! However I’ve been advised it’s very unlikely and I may end up back on zoladex when the symptoms read their ugly head again! Then we will know it’s the adeno causing it and then look to remove my uterus! So frustrating everything has to be ruled out and comes at a cost!

I had zoladex for 6months back in 2015 but from then i am on visanne these are also progesterone and work almost same as zola did for me my dr told me zoladex is not long term solution for endo
