Anxiety side effects HRT THERAPY

So since I started my HRT after approx 1 week I have been getting MAJOR anxiety today. Like my heart is racing so fast I can actually feel it, my head is spinning , I feel woozy, I feel so so nervous and shaky and it is making me dizzy. I cannot even sleep has anyone had this before on the medication I am On?! It is not normal for me. I do suffer with anxiety but this is on another level. I have done meditation and went for a walk and everything I can think of. I just want to know if this is normal when going through this therapy ? Thankyou

I am so sorry to hear that . What hrt are you on ?

I had the same side effects and ended up having my hormones changed .

I would also advise that as it has only been one week you might be told to give more time .

I would definitely talk to my doctor ASAP .

Hi thank you for your reply I am ok Decapeptyl and Tibolone ? I will ensure to contact them. Tbh they are awful and trying to change my specialist due to this. Cannot even get through via phone call.
