Coming off depo

I came off depo in January to try for a baby. Then in March I had a one day bleed. Is this normal as ive been on depo and zoladex injections for 9 years.

I also came off the depo in Jan for the same reason. I bled for 5 weeks from mid Jan to the end of Feb but haven’t seen a period since.. it is normal though to have irregular bleeding / spotting for a while after you come off it.

I would say your going to be unpredictable for a while as 9 years is a long time with ovaries being switched off! It’s frustrating when your trying for a baby but just carry on as you never know you could be ovulating & not bleeding yet! Good luck

I had my last Depo March last year and didnt get any bleeding until December and I had only been on it for 2 years compared to your 9. My periods and pain have been awful with ovulation being at it’s all time worse that my GP advised me to go back on the Depo for my own sanity and to stay on it now until I am 51 ( I am 46) so obviously not trying to get pregnant. Our bodies are all so different and react differently to artificial hormones. I hope your cycle sorts itself out soon.
