Hey :) if you google the endo diet or ‘endo resolved’ a good amount of information should come up. There’s a great book by Caroline Levitt which has recipes for the endo diet. It’s very restrictive and quite tough to get used to but many of us have found it to be really helpful and managing some of the symptoms. Off the top of my head it’s no: dairy, caffeine, gluten, red meat, soy, alcohol, sugar, generally processed stuffs

However there are recipes online which will give you some idea of what you can have. I lost a stone I had been trying to shift in 7 weeks and I have the mirena coil in so that was a miracle 😂 xxx

Hey catness

I stick to a very clean diet, gluten and dairy free , no added sugars( it hard to go no sugar) no processed food. It really common sense really , dont eat bad food.

I have felt so much better since i gave up , my skin good, ive lost alot of weight, hair and nails are good to but most of all my periods and pmt are SOOOO much better.

I just had my 7 th period since stopped it all totally and apart from 1st and 2nd day pain ( which was 50% better then used to b) it was easier, i was still able to function not go to bed

I do suffer with ibs to so i did it for both reasons as my ibs had got bad to but i been told that they can b related. Ibs and endo, if u have one u can tend to have the other.

I also keep my gut bacteria healthy with probiotics and digestive enzymes.

There is also a great book called one part plant by Jessica Murnane who is also an endo sufferer and designed the book with recipes targeted to help reduce symptoms. I cut out gluten, dairy, caffeine and really reduced my alcohol in take (only have it as a treat now) and it really did help reduce the bloating and pain. Good luck x

Through all my years of suffering, not one specialist recommended changing anything in my diet, that up until the LADY consultant I have now, I have a full booklet on what to avoid, garlic & onions being one, this helps with the bowel which is my main problem. Look online I printed lots off. Good luck 😉

I drink oat or almond milk now. I have to admit it doesn’t taste quite as good as milk in tea but it does the trick 😊

I do and only drink decaf coffee too. I also have a lot of turmeric in my diet (sprinkle it in porridge, make turmeric lattes, tea etc) as that has really good anti inflammatory benefits also xxx

Hi,

I’ve just discovered cashew milk as an alternative to cows milk ,after trying various alternatives this is good ... I couldn’t stand soya 🤮although I know some people love it.

great thank you I try some of that too xxx

I was advised by my fertility specialist to cut gluten and lactose out to ease endo symptoms. Some say cutting down on soya helps- as soya fuels eatrogen more and can make endo worse.

It is truly an awful disease , I hope you’re managing to get some relief from endo symptoms. xoxo
