Bowel endometriosis and hysterectomy

After 5 laparoscopy and a bowel section I am finally at the end and can take no more!! I have to have another bowel section and want a full hysterectomy at the same time. I have been advised by gynacologist to have an oophorectomy to just remove ovaries as if I have a hysterectomy then it has to be removed via the vagina and would increase infection risk. I am of the belief that if you leave the uterus you are likely to have to take hormones on top of the hrt you would poss have to have anyway. So that would be a combination hormone which I don't want as progesterone really doesn't suit me. I just want rid of everything so I can start a healthy life. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this please.
