Hi, new to the forum and Wanted to introduce myself. I’m 34 and awaiting a total hysterectomy.

I have had many problems with undiagnosed endometriosis for years, being let down by the health system. Even being told it was in my head and offered anti depressants as the pain must be in my head!

I’ve been give the decapeptly injection for the first time four days ago. The hospital I’m under doesn’t seem to provide much support or information on what to expect. I’m having the hysterectomy around may. I have been experiencing a lot of sickness and crying since the injection. Does anyone have any advice on how to cope with the emotional aspects of it all does this ease off soon?

Hi Becsmcg, I am shocked as to why the doctors have not diagnosed you with your problem here. You may need to change the doctor or you might need to become a little more upfront with them.

Sorry to be clear it went undiagnosed for years but is now diagnosed.
