Hi,
Just to rest and keep on top of your painkillers don’t expect to be doing housework or much walking other than to the toilet/shower/kitchen for a week or two. I just had my lap about ten days ago and left the house for my first 20 min walk yesterday and had to stop a few times! Having said that, everyone is very different and it depends what happens in there. Hope t all goes well for you.
You maybe very nauseous like I was so I asked for lots of anti nausea drugs because I hate sick I also had peppermint and anti sickness bands on hand to help 🤔 Sleep near a bathroom if thats possible because I still had the anaesthetic in me so the first few nights I couldnt manage the stairs 😂 Also take a pad just in case I bled after I dont know if it was because of my coil being fit or the op but best to be safe than sorry 🤔 Prepare to take at least 2 weeks off I took almost 3 weeks off and that was only a diagnostic lap I dont think it helped that my wounds got infected 😮 Shower beforehand cause you cant have a shower for a few days 🤔 Xx
