Tibalone injection prior to hystorectomy

Hi,

Feeling a bit nervous. I am getting my 1st injection on Thursday morning to put me in a menopausal state. If it works, I will take it for 3 months and then have a hystorectomy. I am married with 2 kids, and we do not want any more so that is not an issue. I am just really really nervous that it will wreak havok with my emotions and ability to function. However, if it helps with my fibroids, polyps and pelvic issues then it will be worth it.

Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation or has gone through this recently and would give me any information you have?!

Hi I am booked for a total hysterectomy on 22nd Dec. I am also worried about the after effects. However when I speak to other ladies who have had this done, they all say it is the best thing they have ever done and they have never looked back. I tty to keep this in mind and have come to the conclusion that I can't carry on with the pain I have now so it's got to make things better in the long run.

Hi I've just had a total hysterectomy due to having fibroids. I do not have any kids due to choice and what not. In the end it was the only thing they could do hope this helps.
