Pain and nauseous tonight :(

Diagnosed with endo 2 weeks ago, had my lap 2 weeks ago , I have endo mainly on my right side and on my bladder. Currently ovulating.

Tonight I’ve got pain in my right side, not agony but uncomfortable, rectum pain, thigh pain and I feel sick and generally rubbish had to lay down for a little bit I’ve bedn eating gluten free for a while.. last couple of days I’ve eaten gluten stuff and egg noodles.. don’t know if this is suppose to be pay back now

Any advice for endo pain? I’ve taken a Codine so I might drift off shortly

Have you tried a heating pad or anything like that? It helped me a lot when I had my lap done. I had similar pains to you and I found it helped if I actually sat on the heating pad and kinda wrapped it around me between my legs/back area. I’m sorry you’re feeling so horribly. It isn’t easy

Had my lap on Wed. We're now on Monday from what I've read feeling nausea is normal.

Specially if your ovulating. Need try eat plain foods nothing too fatty.

As for codeine be aware they'll make you VERY constipated and the bum pain may get worse due to this.

Ginger tea or peppermint tea will help with nausea xxxxx

I experienced a little pain for up to six months after the surgery then suddenly I had my life back and was okay.

Stick to the endo diet. Avoid alcohol, dairy, sugar, soy. Eat organic fruit, vegetables and meat. Limit red meat.

Try psyllium husk to help your bowels to work better. Hot water bottles and pain meds can help you through. If you don’t get on with codeine, there are other pain meds you can be prescribed.

If you have a temperature, go to the docs. It may be an infection from surgery. x
