Ovary pain

hi, I had my lap 2 months ago and have had a good recovery and periods are back to normal. However from day 6-12 this cycle I have been experiencing very slight pain in both my ovaries. The pain is very subtle and comes and goes. It almost feels like I have pulled a muscle. Has anyone else experienced this? In my lap they removed a large cyst from my right ovary and some other endo from behind me womb. I am trying to conceive so worried that something is still wrong. Thanks sarah

You could be experiencing ovulation pain. I’ve had it a few days before, during and after ovulation.

How did your lap go? I’m in the same boat, after a lap you’re more sensitive in those areas after all the meddling so you’ll feel it more.

I had my lap in August and I’ve had two periods since with no clots at all! I just hope my tubes are up to the job. Wish I never had endo :(

I did think it might be ovulation pain but I don’t usually ovulate until day 17. My lap went well they got rid of most of it apart from a small patch on the tube connecting my bladder to my kidneys. I’m hoping it’s my body settling down but I didn’t have it last month. Thanks for your reply x

I had this after my laparoscopy, where I also had blood cysts removed from my ovaries. I had sharp pains in both my sides and was walking around bent over for a few days, I even attended the walk in centre for advice but they put it down to aggravation from my op. It didn’t last too long, a few days 3/4 maybe so I hope yours also settles for you soon! Sending love and positivity Hunni 💜💫🌟✨

I get ovary pain at various points in my cycle and also when new cysts are present. My mum had the same condition as me (endo + ovarian cysts) and she was told by the hospital that she’ll probably keep getting cysts.
