Help please

Hi all,

My consultant suspected endometriosis and started me on prostap for three months, however due to a hospital admission I didn't have my third injection and was advised by consultant to stop treatment for now. I haven't any had any injections for approx two months however I have severe thinning of hair on my head and my hair keeps shedding ALOT! On top of everything else this is starting to get me down. I was wondering if anyone experienced anything similar and if it grows back?

Yes, not uncommon and it should come back fine. My hairdresser recently had to thin mine out again as it's grown back to just as thick as it was before.

It's such a horrible side effect on top of all the other crap!

Im in a similar position i had zoladex which is the same kind of thing as prostap. Think its a brand thing? Anyway ive just had 6th and final one. Im so depressed. Ive lost almost half the volume of hair ive had. I just want it to stop. Ive read a few things that have said it grows back so im living in hope. Let me know how things are going with yours. Hang in there xx

Thank you both for your replies - really kind 😊 The injections stopped two months ago and the hair is still falling and making bald patches which are very noticeable. If you come across or have any tips please let me know xx
