So I'm having my ovary removed. My surgeon originally said he was going remove the ovary and keep the tube.
Now he's saying he's removing the tube aswell.
Is the tube worth saving without the ovary? So bloody confused

There seems to be some suggestion that also removing tube lowers cancer risks, which is raised by having an oopherectomy.
