I am very emotional atm as its Been a year now since I noticed my periods had Changed from having my implant out . I didn't have periods on the implant but I noticed after a few months they got lighter and started to last a day and then to hours.
I was experiencing really bad pains , stabbing pains ,very bloated, back ache , very tired all the time etc all of the symptoms . I went to my GP as was also trying to get pregnant so each time I went they said lets do a test !! Always negative . Then I got really poorly and was admitted in November to hospital for a week I was in so much pain on morphine and tramadol. I said I couldn't live like this, I couldn't work as I was too tired. They referred me for surgery .i had a op in jan and found endometriosis he removed a lot of it but left some near my right ovary . He said my periods would go back to normal and I would get pregnant , I had 2 ok cycles and now I am suffering ever since for months . I have been back to consultant and GP . Having tests to see if early menopause !! I really hope not.im so exhausted . Just feel like I don't have any answers now !

Really sorry you're having such a hard time Shaney. Did you have surgery with an excision specialist or just a regular gynaecologist? If it was the latter it could be that you still have some endo left untreated which is causing problems.
In terms of your cycles, many factors can effect them and your body has been through a lot. Stress can have an impact on them as well. But if you are worried I would say go back to your doctor. There are tests that can be done which would tell you if you are menopausal. An AMH test will give you your egg count for example.
I have had my bloods back and I am not menopause so that's good , they tested for a lot of things . They said all is fine . The next step is that we have been referred to fertility treatment so my partner just needs his tests now and then hopefully get seen. I have seen other posts about people having clomid to help their eggs mature ? This may be my next step.i am also looking into changing my Job as at the min I work a lot of shifts and I don't think that is helping x
